Renowned for its exceptional taste qualities, the mango is a tropical fruit with an elongated shape whose sweet and aromatic flesh captivates with its fineness (no fibres). Its skin offers a gradient of colours ranging from green to bright red. It is a noble fruit, appreciated for its orange flesh with a smooth texture and its characteristic fragrance.
Lady Tips: Tasting & Storage
The ideal preparation
To preserve its delicate texture and avoid fibres, we recommend the so-called “Hedgehog” method:
- Cut the mango into two wide slices along the central stone.
- Score the flesh with the tip of a knife in a grid pattern, without piercing the skin.
- Turn the skin inside out to reveal the mango cubes.
For a burst of flavour, enjoy at room temperature. If you prefer a refreshing sensation, place it in the refrigerator only 30 minutes before serving.
